Open up to the flow of life through the study and practice of Yin Yoga and Meridian Theory. Yin Yoga, also known as meditating in shapes, is the quieter aspect of many of our Yang activities. It is an opportunity to go inward and cultivate a better understanding and connection with your physical and emotional well-being. Although a slower practice, Yin Yoga provides a mental challenge and physical edge.
Combining Yin Yoga with the study of Meridian Theory, the energetic pathways in the body, we can open space physically, mentally, and emotionally releasing stress and old stories in order open to new opportunities and possibilities.
The wood element is associated with the liver (yin) and the gallbladder (yang). When in balance we are connected to our creative processes, ability to make decisions, and a sense of generosity and kindness.
This workshop will include:
A breakdown of the five elements of Meridian Theory.
Explanation and understanding of the practice and benefits of Yin Yoga.
An introduction to the element and its associated organs.
60-minute Yin class created around finding balance within the element.
PDF of information covered in class (including all element details & typed out class sequence).
Access to the class recording for 7-days (because sometimes live classes just don’t work for everyone’s schedules).
Option to sign up for all five classes (save $10) or join individual elements and see what happens when you open up to your own flow of energy.
Please sign up for class at least 30 minutes prior to the start time. Once you have registered for the class you will be sent the Zoom link with meeting ID and password to join.
