Yin Yoga, also known as meditating in shapes, is an opportunity to slow down and turn inwards. Postures are primarily seated and held from 2-8 minutes to target fascia and connective tissue. Rooted in Chinese Taoist philosophy, Yin Yoga emphasizes being at one with that which is around us and at harmony with that which is within us. A deep practice in finding peace and surrender within challenge and discomfort, Yin Yoga is a beautiful addition to more vigorous practices or a standalone practice of exploring one's own nature.
